Karina is wife to Tony, Mum to Jeremiah, Felicity and Nathaniel and Step Mum to Tyson. Her blended family is the inspiration for her books and ministry to Christian single parents and step families. Karina has been a Christian since 1980, a teacher since 1993, a parent since 2001 and holds a Masters degree in Education Studies specializing in Language and Literacy along with a Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology.She also serves as the board chairperson at her children's Christian school. Her desire is to see specific support and genuine grace -filled theology extended to single parents, divorced and remarried people in the church and to provide quality resources to such families in churches, kindergartens and schools as well as to teachers, pastors and counselors.

Blended Not Shaken Ministries and Publications is an inter-denominational organization that seeks to promote DIGNITY and provide DISCIPLESHIP and DIRECTION to Christian single parents and blended families. We offer childrens resources to families and those who work with them, and workshops to Christian schools and churches, counselors and chaplains.

We also provide single and step mum monthly support groups in various locations in Adelaide, South Australia.

Our single and step mum support groups meet in 4 locations during school terms. Below are semester 1 dates, 2020.

My Two Houses tells the story of a child who lives with the challenges of being in a blended family and is helped by prayer, scripture and the knowledge that wherever you are, God is near and can be your friend.

Caught in the Middle is the story of a child whose relationship with God through the Bible and prayer, helps with the difficulties faced and feelings experienced as a result of having divorced parents.

My Family Bush helps to bring meaning to the concepts of 'step', 'half' and 'full' as they apply to blended family relationships whilst showing that all families regardless of their structure are special and loved by God.

One Step at a Time - A Step Family Journal is a collection of short stories written for step families with each chapter of the novel dedicated to one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. A graphic novel for independent readers.
